Dicot.  Flowers regular with 4 petals united with the sepals to form a slender tube.  Flowers in leaf axils or terminal clusters.  Stamens commonly 8, sometimes 4.  Ovary usually long, slender, 4-sided, and stigma usually with 4 lobes.
